East China Normal University is a comprehensive research university, which was selected as the first-class university in 2017. Statistics of East China Normal University ranked third in the discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education in 2016, was selected as the first-class discipline in the national key construction in 2017, and was listed as the peak discipline in Shanghai in 2018.
In order to further strengthen the construction of statistics discipline and provide a high-level research platform for outstanding doctors interested in statistical research, the Post-doctoral Station of Statistics of East China Normal University recruits postdoctoral researchers at home and abroad openly. The relevant issues are announced as follows:
I. Recruitment Conditions
1. Good moral character, good health, under 35 years old;
2. At home and abroad, high-level universities or research institutes have obtained doctoral degrees in statistics or related fields, or will soon pass doctoral dissertation defense;
3. Has a high academic level and strong scientific research ability, and publishes at least one high-level SCI paper as the first author or communication author in relevant fields;
4. Good oral and writing skills in both English and Chinese.
5. Postdoctoral postdocs should be out of production during their stay, and no in-service postdoctoral researchers should be recruited.
II. Relevant Treatment
1. Statistical post-doctoral mobile stations provide remuneration and welfare of 300,000 yuan per year (before tax), while paying social security and reserve funds in accordance with state regulations;
2. Subsidizing travel expenses to foreign well-known universities for academic visits, exchanges and cooperation, and joint post-doctoral training;
3. During the station period, you can rent the post-doctoral apartment according to the regulations of the school, and enjoy the relevant policies of the post-doctoral personnel stipulated by the school (such as household registration transfer and children's enrollment, etc.).
4. On-site working period is generally 2 years. It can leave the station in advance, but it must work at the station for no less than 21 months. According to the needs of research work, the station time can be prolonged. After more than two years'stay, the treatment will be agreed separately by the school, the Ministry of Economics and Management and the co-tutor.
III. Registration Requirements
From the date of promulgation, applicants are requested to send the following application materials to their contacts:
1. Personal resume (highlighting educational experience, research experience and research expertise);
2. Scanning documents of doctoral diploma and doctoral diploma or proof materials for doctoral graduation;
3. 2-3 electronic versions of representative works of academic research, the electronic versions of doctoral dissertations are provided by graduates, and the abstracts and catalogues of doctoral dissertations are provided by graduates.
4. Scanning of identity documents;
5. Two letters of recommendation from experts;
6. Apply for postdoctoral research ideas or work plans.
IV. Recruitment process
Statistical postdoctoral mobile station in line with the principle of open admission, preferential admission, open, fair and fair admission of postdoctoral researchers. This site will conduct a preliminary examination of the registration materials, and candidates entering the preliminary examination will arrange interviews uniformly at that time. No application materials will be returned.
